Klevu (Athos Commerce) alternative: a published price and a trial, or a quote
Klevu is now part of Athos Commerce, which sells search, merchandising and product-feed management, and an optional Conversational Assistant, on quoted annual plans. OneSite Assistant is a single block with a published price. They answer different questions, and a store can run both.

Choose Klevu (Athos) if
- You want search, merchandising and personalisation on your site as one platform. Its pricing page lists these as Onsite Discovery.
- You also need product-feed management for external channels, which the page lists as Offsite Discovery. We do not do this.
- You are happy with a sales conversation and an annual plan: the page says the plans are standalone annual plans and shows “Request Pricing” on every one.
Choose OneSite Assistant if
- You want to know the price before you talk to anyone, and to start with a free trial from the Shopify App Store.
- Your shoppers ask for an occasion, a person or a situation, and you want the answer to be a top pick with a reason.
- You want the questions you could not answer to arrive as requests, in the shoppers’ own words.
Side by side
Athos: onsite and offsite discovery, that is search, merchandising, personalisation and feeds. OneSite Assistant: a top pick for a described need, with a reason, plus a few alternatives.
Athos, per its pricing page as of 16 October 2026: no prices published; each plan shows “Request Pricing”. The Klevu app on Shopify is free to install, and its listing says the Athos plans are billed separately by Klevu, in USD. Ours is on the pricing page.
Athos lists a Conversational Assistant as an add-on, available across its Complete and Onsite plans, also priced on request. We cannot compare it with ours on cost, so compare the answers instead.
The Shopify listing names English under languages and lists “multi-language” as a feature without saying which languages. Ask them about yours.
No filters on your collection pages, no feed management, no support chat.
Using both
The assistant is a separate theme block that does not touch the search you already run. Keep Athos for search and feeds; add the assistant only if sentence-style questions are going unanswered.
Test it on your own shoppers’ words
Do not decide from a feature table, ours included. Open your store’s search log and take five real queries: two that found the right product, two that found nothing, one written as a sentence. Run them through the tool you use today and through the OneSite Assistant demo, and compare what comes back.
If the tool you already use answers them well, keep it. If the sentence-style queries come back empty, that is the gap we are built for.
